my boots

Well these are the boots that are going to take me places - on the Appalachian Trail of course!  Boots are important for sure.  I have heard the horror stories of the people losing their toenails and getting terrible blisters - I don't want that!  Ya gotta have happy feet!  My daughter doesn't agree with me, she thinks the most important thing is fashion.  And she always looks very cute, but I'm into comfort, especially when there's a lot of miles involved.

So I have high arches and these boots are comfortable and fit great.  I'll probably use inserts to add more support when we hit the trail.  Oh, the socks are important too.  Gotta have wool, 'cause my Dad says, they will keep your feet warm and dry when it's cold and wet.

I've been wearing them to break them in and they keep my feet happy.  And I actually think they're pretty cute! That's for my daughter :)!

Blessings,
Mamawizzy

  1. I think they LOOK great, too! Let me know how they are... I'm going to be doing some hiking in July.

  2. I'll let you know. We won't be doing any serious hiking until August though. That's when we hit the AT. We're going to try to take some weekend trips before that so I can give you some feedback.
