So I've been a little distracted from the AT preparations. We're currently in Texas welcoming our second granddaughter! Yesterday little Miss Anna Grace made her entrance into this great big world! She was quite unhappy to be taken from her comfy, quiet world inside Mommy's tummy and brought into the bright and loud world outside. Once she quieted down she settled in for a nice meal, and while she ate, Mommy enjoyed Taco Bell, which she had been thinking about all during labor! Any of you who know Anna's Mommy know how important food is to her!
Big sister was very excited to see her and immediately said, "I want to hold her". She also tried to comfort Miss Anna when she cried by telling her, "don't be afraid".
And I just want you to know how much I love technology because we were able to Facetime with Uncle Zach shortly after the birth and he could see her and be a part of the excitement. Not as good as being there, but better than nothing. Everyone is doing well, even Dad, and they should be home later today or early tomorrow. We are truly blessed indeed!
