Papawizzy and I love to ride our mountain bikes. It's so beautiful to ride off road and enjoy the scenery and it's quite a workout. It's one of the ways we try to stay in shape. It's kinda a date for us because we regularly stop at our favorite little bakery midway through our ride. We're able to eat yummy stuff and then work it off on the remainder of our ride. Good planning don't you think! :)!
However, it's not the same as hiking so we're going to have to add walking and hiking to our days as we prepare for this excursion on the AT. We plan to walk the same trail we ride the next time we go out - that's about 10 miles! Well maybe we should start with walking half of it!!
