I am weak

I thought I was a pretty strong person, I was wrong!  This move and change in lifestyle has made me realize just how much I like my creature comforts.  I also have been a little put off that this transition hasn't gone smoother.  I don't know what I was thinking, but it seems like every day holds a new and exciting challenge!

I am happy to report, however that the Lord has brought some very nice people our way to help with this transition.  Doug, our neighbor across the street has really been there for us.  Every time we have a problem, we go running to him. The other day when we had a major electrical problem in the RV and spent the night without lights or heat, he showed up in the morning with an extra battery so we could get the heat going and make some coffee!  Thankfully we were able to get a service man out and get the problem fixed after that. And then there's Wayne, who spent much time and effort looking for Papawizzy after he found his drivers license in his yard! Papawizzy lost it on a bike ride and after many days of looking for it had been trying to get it replaced when he got a call from our real estate agent in California asking him if he wanted his drivers license back!  Wayne had spent days trying to find us, even after his friends told him he should just throw the license away.  He managed to find our agent and asked him to have Papawizzy call him so they could meet and get the license!

That's just an example of some of the crazy things we've been working through!  I know it will get better and we will acclimate, but in the mean time, I miss California, my friends and family and the familiar!  These cuties make everything better.

Blessings,
Mamawizzy
